The Consultant

The Consultant is a project made inside a global consulting firm, where I spent twenty-six years before turning to photography. For six months I followed teams with my camera, photographing the work itself: the late hours, focused work time at the laptop, the meetings and the travel, the small rituals that hold the days together.

What interested me was the ordinary question underneath the industry's surface: how a strong professional culture shapes the people inside it. How they dress, how they behave, what they make of themselves to belong, and how something individual still shows through, even after the adaptation has done its work.
